  6. I have never run a marathon, will I be able to finish a 10K, Half or Full Marathon?

Absolutely! It might take a little bit of hard work and training, but many of our runners are first timers.  To date, every Team Yachad member has crossed the finish line successfully. Whether you are a first time runner or an experienced one, join us B’Yachad for this wonderful marathon experience.

  7. I am concerned that I might not be able to raise the required funds. Will I be able to do it?

Even if you’ve never raised money before, our materials and strategies will make it easy for you to solicit and collect sponsorships from friends, family, colleagues, neighbors, and others.

Experience has shown that it is not only possible, but quite enjoyable as you work to reach this goal.  Yachad is a worthwhile organization and our runners are enthusiastic about its mission. You will be surprised how friends, family, and co-workers will respond to your effort to run/walk in a marathon to help this wonderful cause. Remember, you are not asking people to make donations…you are asking them to sponsor YOU and YOUR efforts!

  8. How can my sponsors submit payment?

Online contributions can be made by credit card on the runner’s personalized page found on our website.  Checks should be pledged online through the runner’s personalized page and can be mailed to:

    Team Yachad Ashkelon
    40 Rector St, 4th Floor
    New York, NY 10006

Please make sure that sponsors write your name and their email address on the check so we can ensure that you are given credit for the donation.  Team Yachad will send tax exempt receipts to every sponsor. Tax receipts can be issued for the US, Canada or Israel.

  9. Covid-19 safety:

We hope that by race day the requirements and safety guidelines for an outdoor run will be more clear and simple. Furthermore, Yachad will be taking all the needed and necessary safety steps to assure the runners are safe at all times. Runners will get updates from Yachad about the latest safety guidelines.
